6 + 1 Traits Week Five

At this point I feel I have came along way with the 6 + 1 Traits. When I first learned about the 6 + 1 Traits it was a bit difficult for me especially conventions. But as time progressed I studied them so I can understand them more. I think the 6 + 1 Traits helped me become a better writer. Before I knew about the 6 + 1 Traits I would say my writing was ok. But learning the 6 + 1 Traits helped me. I have more of a voice in my writing now. I pick more expert and detailed words. Learned about conventions. How to strengthen my skills in grammer. How to take notes and highlight key points while reading. This class and the 6 + 1 Traits have helped me so much!

6 + 1 Traits week 2

This week with the 6 + 1 Traits has been interesting. I have been focusing mainly on voice and sentence fluency. I have been studying these two all week. I would love to work on my voice, and especially my sentence fluency. I feel that my voice is sometimes not clear in my writing. I say this because some people say that their not sure about what my theme is in my writing. I sometimes get confused when people say this because I feel my writing is clear. But at other times I can see why they say that. My sentence fluency can use sometime work this I know. Im not saying sentence are not good but they could use more detail. I know what I need to do in order to work on these two things. For the next couple of weeks I will be working on voice and sentence fluency.
