6 + 1 traits week 3 Tuesday

I feel that out of 6 + 1 traits, conventions is the one I have the most trouble with. Sometime I dont why when I write I lose focus. I start to write fragments and my work can sometimes just get all over the place. Its not that I can do these thing like write good sentances, its just for some reason sometimes I can drift in my writing. Meaning I start out good, but as I on I make simple grammatical errors, and thimgs of that nature. Im trying to stay more focused in my writing.

Proposal Draft

Cells phones in the world today are a hit. With more and more apps, videos, music, and wifi capability cell phones are great for portable entertainment. The question is becoming do we really need computer anymore? I personally am a huge fan of cell phones and all of its capabilities. Cell phones are changing the world.

In today’s world everyone has a cell phone. I mean who doesn’t if you do not have one you are considered as a loser. One example of how cell phones are changing the world is business. Some companies have partnerships with cell phones companies. This is because so their employees can do business on the go, and receive calls and e`-mails while they are away from their desk. This takes the flexibly of work to a whole another level.

The topic has been coming up a lot with so much things you can do with a cell phone, do we really need computers. I mean when I think about it its hard to tell. They both do the same thing. Both play music, videos, games, video chat, and you can surf the web. Me personally I think cell phones will someday take over computers, because what is the use for a computer when I can do everything from my phone.

1) Description of theme
I am writing about cell phones.
Cell phones mean a lot to me. I personally am a huge fan of cell phones. Cell phones are transforming today’s world in fun, music, business etc…

2) Rationale
This theme is worth writing about because it is the next big topic in today’s world. I think that cell phones have the potential to be the next big topic for years to come.
This will help me become a better writer by helping me pull out ideas before I start writing. I will try to include fully detailed sentences with lots of valuable information. I will prepare myself by outlining and brainstorming.

3) Resources
I need to research the top phones and what they are capable of doing.
I will find my information on google and bing. Phones reviewers will help me a lot as they are experts at telling what a phone can do.
This research will help me write my portfolio with all the information I can collect from my sources.

4) Goals
Because through these types of writing I can write my portfolio the best to my ability. I plan to show my creative skills in writing, learn how to research and write better, accomplish hopefully a good grade.
It will teach me how to write better in general. It can make them sit down and take their time while doing there work. Research, outline things of that nature.

Who I Am as a Writer?

In today's world there are many types of writers. We have journalist, poets, storytellers, fictional and non-fictional writers. I feel that I am a fictional/non-fictional writer. Writing fictional stories can open a world of creativity. You can expand your imagination beyond limits. At the same time when you need to talk about something real and be serious you can go non-fictional. Me personally I love to be creative with my writing. I like to take the time out brainstorm and think of something that will wow my reader. I am not a poet by a longshot. Me and poetry do not get along. Poetry is difficult for me. When in 6th grade this is when I discovered who i am as a writer. As a class we were asked to write a book at least five pages long. I was unsure on what to write about. Thinking for days I finally came to descion. I decided to make up a story about a boy lost in this bizzare world. This was the discovery of me becoming a true ficional writer. Before this I did not know who I was as a writer. Some books encouraged me to become a fictional writer. Such book like the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe and arthur. Growing up I thought I wanted to be a journalist. Boy was I wrong! It was fun seening journalist travel around the world interviewing people. With that with that comes hard work which I failed to realize. You have to spell very well, do lots of research, things like that. Being a non-fictional writer gives you some options. I like to be a fictional writer when expressing a feeling of serious, love, and mad etc...Like I said earlier 6th grade is the discovery of me finding out who i am as a writer. Poetry is boring to me. Not that I cant understand it but it do not interest me.
